"There will also be local and international television crews. It will take up about 9,000 room nights in the hotels along the routes and catering for about 36,000 meals," said Naim.
"There will be 300 vehicles in the convoy and 100 motorcycles. It is quite a massive operation and needs precise coordination."
He added that cycling fans will be able to follow the race news through SNTV's representatives covering the race through 265 broadcasters which will reach at least 840,000,000 homes worldwide.
Channels in the Asian Continent and also Europe will air the highlights through arrangements being made with ESPN and other viewers will be able to follow the Tour through other television channels.
"Being one of the biggest cycling events in the world, which promises prize money and contract value close to US$300,000 (about RM1.1 million), Malaysia will definitely benefit from the event with the promotional and advertising value," said Naim.
The traditional curtain raiser to the Tour, the Blue Ride for enthusiasts, could also be renamed to suit the new sponsors and is likely to be held in Putrajaya this time around.
